Description: Owls are fascinating, mysterious birds that inspire this focused watercolor workshop. Create a close-up portrait of a Barn Owl using a palette of rusty browns. A muted green background with soft edges and bokeh will enhance the depth and atmosphere. Learn techniques to render realistic feather textures. Capture delicate details like the soft pink beak and deep, dark eyes.
Explore essential watercolor methods, including:
Lifting
Wet-on-wet
Layering
Lorraine will demonstrate steps in the process and share lots of tips and tricks along the way.
Class Video - Lorraine will videotape the lessons and will provide the video to the participants as part of the class fee. Videos available for viewing for 6 months after the last class.
*Note: This workshop is for advanced beginners through advanced watercolor artists. Some classes may need to be rescheduled due to possible weather issues.
