Beginning Watercolor Class - Butterflies

Dates: October 15, 22, 29 & November 5, 2025 (may have to adjust dates due to inclement weather)

Time: 9am - 12pm (Wednesdays, total of 12 hours)

Description: During this informative and fun 4-session class, we will start by going through a variety of watercolor techniques. We will also discuss the supplies and create a color wheel.

Then we will explore using these techniques in a painting and paint a close-up of a butterfly. Learn how to create a blurry background and a realistic butterfly. We will use techniques like wet-on-wet, softening edges, layering, and more.

Lorraine will demonstrate steps in the process and share lots of tips and tricks along the way.

Supply List: The supply list, reference photo, drawings, and instructions are emailed after registration.

Fees: $200 (refunded if the minimum is not met)
