Story Behind This Painting: This blue jay visited my backyard feeder. I love their beautiful blue feathers and raucous calls. My studio window overlooks the feeders. When I saw the flash of blue, I grabbed my camera and this was a favorite of the photos I shot. I used this photo to paint this ink and watercolor as a demonstration during an Ink and Watercolor class.
