Story Behind This Painting: I photographed this scene at the St. Louis Botanic Gardens. The glass globes were floating in the pond with the waterlilies. The reflections of the glass created unusual reflections in the water. The rounded forms of the glass globes mimic the soft forms of the waterlilies and lily pads.
