Story Behind This Painting: I saw this beautiful blue and brown barn swallow near my sisters home and I captured this photo has he was lifting off of a fire hydrant. I liked the color repeating in the bird and hydrant. The contrast between the bird and the man-made metal hydrant was interesting, as well.
