Story Behind This Painting: Living in Colorado Springs for 29 years now, I have seen many amazing views of Pikes Peak. The Peak really glows pink with some sunrises. The sky in this painting was added from a seconded photo and I started this painting as a demonstration painting for my “Dramatic Skies” class.
