Story Behind This Painting: This scene is from a State Park near our home in Colorado. We went to view the aspen and hike around during the fall and arrived during the prime golden leaf period. I loved all the layers of trunks and the vibrant yellow and gold leaves of the canopy above the beautiful white aspen trunks.
